In the eight years since its affiliation with the College, Florida Southern's museum — the Ashley Gibson Barnett Museum of Art (The AGB) — has become a cornerstone of campus life. Newly expanded, filled to the brim with artwork from across time and around the globe, and featuring cutting edge technology and enhancements that allow for experiential and engaged learning in the space of its galleries, The AGB stands out and is setting the standard nationally as an exceptional academic and community museum.
A microcosm of the best academic practices, The AGB is a site for learning and a font for critical and creative thinking; we strive to inspire every visitor, every student, every intern, and every member of the communities we serve through unique and transformative arts experiences. And we do it all for free: yes, we remain a proudly free-admission museum, enabling us to ensure that cost is never a barrier to any visitor's ability to enjoy incredible art and art education programs. Keeping us free and making our world-class exhibitions accessible to every art lover is core to our mission.
