Team Hope In Motion Cyclethon 2025

Welcome to Team Hope in Motion's Annual Cyclethon!

The 2025 Team Hope in Motion Cyclethon is a fundraiser for Florida Southern College’s Department of Physical Therapy to send students on mission trips to Antigua, Guatemala, where they will take part in Team Hope in Motion’s incredible humanitarian work. Team HIM is a volunteer medical organization that provides life-changing mobility surgeries at no cost in Guatemala. These operations benefit those without access to medical care and help young medical professionals gain invaluable practical experience.

Participants will cycle for 45 minutes uninterrupted to support the effort to send Physical Therapy Doctorate students to Antigua. Your donation will make an impact to motivate cyclers and further their mission! Make a difference today in the lives of patients as they receive free surgeries to help them move well and live better.

“Throughout my time in Guatemala, I saw patients go from agonizing pain to tears of joy in a mere few hours because they were able to walk pain-free for the first time in years. It has inspired me to continue to serve underdeveloped countries for years to come! This experience broadened my cultural awareness, deepened my compassion and empathy for others, and, most importantly, reaffirmed my sense of purpose in pursuing a career as a physical therapist. The values I have learned from this trip will carry on with me throughout my entire career!” – Melanie Proulx ’25
