10 Years of the Wynee Warden Dance Program

This year, the Florida Southern College Dance Program proudly celebrates its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of remarkable growth, artistic achievement, and expanding opportunity for students. Since its founding in 2015, the program has evolved from a small but passionate initiative into a thriving and dynamic part of the college’s arts community. Today, the FSC Dance Program offers rigorous training in ballet, modern, and contemporary dance techniques while providing students with meaningful opportunities to perform, choreograph, and collaborate with distinguished guest artists from across the professional dance world.
Alongside their artistic training, FSC Dance students have demonstrated strong scholarly achievement, engaging in academic research, creative inquiry, and interdisciplinary collaboration that reflects the intellectual depth of the program. Over the past decade, alumni of FSC Dance Program have gone on to successful careers as professional dancers, choreographers, educators, arts administrators, and leaders in related creative industries, reflecting the versatility and strong foundation the program provides.
As we celebrate this milestone year, the FSC Dance Program honors both the accomplishments of its students and alumni and the extraordinary growth the program has experienced, while looking ahead to an exciting future of continued innovation, artistry, and impact.
