When is FSC Day of Giving?
The campaign kicks off officially at 8:00 a.m. EST on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 and concludes at 8:00 p.m. on April 12, 2023.
Why should I participate?
When you give and when others give, big things happen. That’s what FSC Giving Day is all about. It’s one day for the entire FSC community to join as one to support what matters to them. And, on FSC Giving Day, your gift has an even bigger impact thanks to generous donor challenge gifts. Your contribution on April 11 and 12 shows the world the collective power of MOCS philanthropy.
How do I make a gift?
Make your gift online by clicking “Give Now” on our main webpage. If you prefer to make your gift through other means, please contact us for more details. Email: development@flsouthern.edy or Phone number: 863-680-4768 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST
Is it possible to make a gift by mail or by phone?
Since Giving Day is just 36 hours long, we encourage online donations. This ensures your gift qualifies for matches and challenges taking place throughout the campaign. To give by phone, please call 863-680-3000 during Day of Giving 2023. Gifts can also be mailed to: Florida Southern College, Office of Advancement, 111 Lakeland Hollingsworth Drive, Lakeland, Florida 33801.
How is my donation used?
FSC allocated 100 percent of your gift to the designation you choose.
What are the FSC Giving Day Challenges?
Through their pledged gifts, a group of generous donors hope to increase the impact of support to our students. This year’s donors have committed to matching donations to be unlocked when we meet milestones throughout Giving Day!
How do I give to my specific fund?
On the homepage, please select Annual Fund, Scholarships or Athletics. Then, select the program you wish to support.
Can my employer match my gift?
Yes! Matching gifts are a great way to make a bigger impact with your donation. To see if your employer as a matching gift program, please click this link https://www.flsouthern.edu/alumni-giving/giving/make-a-gift/donation-matching.aspx.
What if I don't see the department or program I want to support listed under "Area of Giving?"
If you do not see the department or program for which you are looking, you may select "other" under "Area of Giving." Then select "other" under "Fund Please select “Other” under the Area of Giving and then type in the department, program or scholarship you wish to support.
Is my payment secure?
Absolutely. Your payment is securely processed by Braintree/PayPal. The information collected during FSC Giving Day is only used by Florida Southern College, and it will not be sold or shared with any third-party organizations. Your credit card information will not be stored.
Is my gift tax-deductible?
Florida Southern College is an exempt organization, as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, and you will receive an acknowledgment that will serve as a receipt.
How is my gift spent?
Florida Southern College allocates 100% of your gift to the designation you choose.
